Google is hosting a Summit for users from around Asia Pacific to celebrate their contributions to geographic crowd-sourced efforts and to set strategies for increasing the user community.
If you aren’t aware, Lahore is the fastest mapped city on Google Maps, thanks to contributors like Jabran Rafique, Faraz Ahmad etc.
This summit is to be held in Singapore and will be joined by 100 Google Map Maker mappers, 20 Geo Modelers and 10 Panoramio Photo Enthusiasts. This community summit is a two-day event starting from March 30 at 8:00am to April 1 at 7:00pm.
Asia Pacific Google Geo Community Summit is not open to general public i.e is invite-based only, and only selected mappers will be invited by Google to attend the summit in Singapore!
